A few things to remember when looking for furniture:

Before Buying - General

  • If you are buying new furniture please make sure you measure the room and doorways to make sure that the furniture will fit in.
  • Take into consideration the colour of your room and if the furniture will suit your colour scheme.
  • Please be aware that we do not store any furniture.  If you order please make sure you are able to accept it when it is delivered, otherwise you will be charged for the wasted delivery, and you will have to pay for it to be redelivered.
  • Be careful when ordering as the actual colour of the furniture may vary slightly to when you see it on the screen. If unsure please contact us a we will try our best to help you.
  • Lastly our furniture is designed and built to last a lifetime, Take your time a make sure you are 110% sure of your choice, and remember we are here to help.

All our furniture is checked before it leaves but in the unlikely chance it is damaged or faulty please report it within 24 hours of delivery.

Taking care of your furniture :-

  • Waxed finished pieces of furniture will survive and keep looking as healthy as the day your bought them, if you remember to wax  3 to 4 times a year.
  • Most of the leather sofas we provide do not need feeding but can be enriched by using a leather cream once or twice a year. From day to day, simply dust the leather with a damp cloth. This may vary from sofa to sofa so please check the manufactures leaflet.

How to get a good nights sleep?

You look shattered!! How many times have we all heard this?
There are many things we can do to get a good night’s sleep, from making sure we exercise during the day to having the correct bed and mattress.
Experts have suggested the fetal position for a relaxing nights sleep as this helps promotes a relaxed feeling in your muscles as this position puts the least amount of tension on your body.

If it’s not being comfortable that’s helps you get to sleep then it could well be smoking or any type of stimulate you take before going to sleep.  Try avoiding tea, coffee and most types of fizzy drinks as these will all contain caffeine.

Lastly, how long have you had your mattress?  Do you turn it over every few months? If you have had the same mattress for longer than 10 years then it needs to be changed, while is your mattress is relatively new then make sure you turn it over regularly to make sure it doesn’t loose it firmness or shape.

Hope this article has helped, when you need your mattress and bed changing be sure to visit www.crawleysfurniture.co.uk
